Tan Changrong
Tan Changrong, was born in Sichuan Province, China in 1933. Known as China's outstanding flower and bird painter, he is a member of China Artists Association and director of the Sichuan Branch of China Stage Artists Association.
Tan Changrong has a unique personal style, decades of artistic practice make his artistic creations exceptional. The Chinese government gifted his work ‘Eagle Picture’ was to President Carter on his visit to China. His art is collected worldwide, including in France, Belgium, Switzerland, Singapore, Malaysia and the UK. His paintings have been displayed in People's Assembly Church, Tiananmen Square, Diaoyutai, Beijing Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government and Beijing Hotel. Jilin Painting and Calligraphy (Garden) Institute has collected and displayed many of his works.
