Wang Xiaoling
Wang Xiaoling has held solo exhibitions, touring exhibitions or group exhibitions in various parts of China, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan and 18 countries around the world. He has published more than 100 essays and monographs and has been praised by international art critics as "a most spiritual and innovative artist."
At the age of ten, Wang Xiaoling studied Chinese painting with Liu Jiming, a master of the Sichuan painting circle, and learned calligraphy with Ding Jihe. Wang Xiaoling later studied at the Sichuan Academy of Fine Arts.
He is the executive director of Sichuan Chinese Painting Institute, secretary-general of the Chinese Painting Exchange Committee of Sichuan Overseas Friendship Association, and Sichuan Chinese Painting Society, Deputy Director of the Flower and Bird Painting Professional Committee of the Sichuan Provincial Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference Calligraphy and Painting Research Institute, Deputy Director of the Sichuan Xishu Flower and Bird Painting Academy, Visiting Professor at the Malaysian Academy of Arts.
